TERA_RED project
Led by VEOLIA, with the participation of CURVADOS QUINTÍN, GEOTER, INTARCON and KEYTER and with the collaboration of CARTIF, CIEMAT and TECNALIA. With a duration from 2022 to 2025, a total budget of 5,142,271.00€ and a total subsidy of 3,192,342.63€.
The TERA_RED project aims to generate technical scientific knowledge on very low temperature networks, also known as anergy, neutral or 5G networks, by applying the scientific method on a laboratory scale, both virtual and experimental, by comprehensively studying the various technologies involved in distribution, generation, storage, management and interaction with other higher temperature networks and cooling rings, in order to make a substantial leap forward in the knowledge available in their design, management and operation, enabling an improvement in the positioning of Spanish industry in a decarbonisation scenario, management and interaction with other higher temperature grids and cooling rings, in order to make a substantial leap in the knowledge available in their design, management and operation, enabling an improvement in the positioning of Spanish industry in a scenario of decarbonisation of the economy and electrification of energy consumption under an integrated conception of the energy system.
